The BLS instructor course is a 16 hour program. This course focuses on how to plan and successfully coordinate PBLS, Heart Saver, Heart Saver AED and BLS for Healthcare Provider courses. Policies and procedures of the AHA are covered as well as the Community Training Center (CTC) manual. Before the course, students will be assigned a lecture topic from their handbooks that they will have to research and discuss in front of the class for approximately 5 minutes. Students will also demonstrate their practical skills to the course instructors.
