Course to include the following: Introduction to EMS Systems 1; legal &amp; ethical  issues; well being of the first responder; the human body; lifting, moving &amp; positioning patients; airway management assessment of the patient; CPR &amp; automated external defibrillaters; medical emergencies; bleeding, shock &amp; soft tissue injuries; muscle &amp; bone injuries; childbirth, infants &amp; children; gaining access &amp; hazards on scene; multiple casualty incidents; triage &amp; the incident management systems.</span></p>
